We are running "get you licence" ham classes starting on 10th August at 7:00 pm, for six weeks. These are based at the Hutt Valley Branch clubrooms off Birch Street in Lower Hutt.
Cost is $95, and includes NZART membership, VHF Group and Branch 18 membership for a year, class materials, examination, licence and your callsign.
Not sure if you can pass? No problem, as we run the class and then offer mentoring and support to help you learn what you need to pass. And once you have passed, there will be plenty of help to get on the air and get active. As they say, the learning starts after you have passed the exam!
If you are keen to enrol please act as we have only 8 spaces and (as at today) 4 are taken. We think we should run then again next May, so please act now - unless you really can wait that long to start the hobby of a lifetime.
