Congratulations to Wayne ZL2BKC for an excellent result. This was Wayne's first FMC and it's pleasing to see a Wellington VHF Group member take first place in the first FMC run by the Group.
Papakura Branch 65 won the Branch Award hands down with an outstanding level of participation with seven entries and three excellent scores. Even if Ian ZL1AOX's second entry was excluded Papakura would still have it.
Ian ZL1AOX did enter twice with two different receivers, antennas, and measurement set-ups. This has been allowed - this time.
These results are presented as provisional; if you think an error has crept into your results please let NZART HQ know as soon as possible.
UPDATE Thursday 23 Sept
One change has been made in the provisional results. The change resulted from including all five measurements from Brian ZL1IE in my average calculation instead of his nominated three best readings. My apologies to all concerned.
UPDATE Thursday 30 Sept
One entry was received without a name, address, or call. VHF Group member Randall ZL2RJP has 'owned up' and valiantly made measurements with an FT101 and HP 5334A as in his first FMC effort - well done.
In the next couple of days I will be posting equipment details and some of the comments received.
Finally a big thank you to all competitors! It has been a fun first contest in the new format and while there may be a couple of small changes needed to the rules, feedback has been very positive.
